RC Trees central Florida tree farm was founded in 2018 by longtime friends Carey Duryea and Robert Burns. Carey is a 5th generation Floridian. Carey holds an associate’s degree in mathematics from Seminole State College. Carey has spent over 25 years in the landscape industry with a focus on irrigation design and construction. Carey is a licensed general contractor, irrigation contractor, restricted pesticide applicator and principal at Quality Services in Lake Mary, FL.
Robert has lived in the central Florida area for most his life. Robert has over 25 years in the landscape services industry. With an education in horticultural studies, Robert began his adult career with Spring Hill Nursery in Apopka, FL in the late 1990’s eventually forming a successful landscape design & construction company BLG Environmental Services in Longwood, FL. Robert is a Florida Nurseryman & Growers Association certified landscape designer and horticulturist professional.
Other collaborations between Robert and Carey include RC Sitework, a professional turn key solution for all aspects of site work in central Florida. With over 50 years of landscape industry experience they know quality landscape material and our committed to only the finest trees and shrubs. Excellence without compromise!
